I began my editing career at a national wire service and worked my way to the senior editor position. My job entailed protecting and reinforcing my client's brand and reputation by ensuring the consistent dissemination of grammatically and factually correct information in multiple formats that include the following:

 

• Copywriting

• Events and dividends

• Quarterly financial earnings

 

Management recognized the consistency and quality of my work by citing me several times for producing error-free content.

 

I switched gears to change my career by enrolling in the Pastry Arts degree program (graduating Summa Cum Laude).

 

What started as a personal student journal, The Pastry Prophet blog evolved into discussions about custom recipes, common decorating errors, and reviews of local patisseries to market my skills and products, attract potential new clients, and build Pastry Prophet brand recognition.

After working in restaurants, for several years I launched a dessert catering business offering custom cakes, cookies, pies, and plated desserts.

 

I returned to writing for the digital age by developing multimedia content as a food writer, website design, social media posts, marketing copy, and photography to help small businesses reach their target market, build brand loyalty, and generate client engagement.
